Gender Transformative Practice in Health: In-Person Masterclass 

The Gender Transformative Practice in Health workshop is a full-day workshop delivered in person, designed to bring together health and health service delivery in a collaborative space. Participants will be supported to work through practical activities that will build on their existing skills and confidence to transform gender norms, practices, and structures in order to create more equitable healthcare access and service experiences for women and gender diverse people. Participants will look at the theoretical frameworks underpinning gender transformative practice and the application of intersectionality and anti-oppressive theories in gender-transformative work with health settings.

Price: FREE for a limited time, for healthcare workers within public, not-for-profit and private health organisations.

Mid to senior-level leaders, clinicians, health practitioners and workers within health settings, seeking to strengthen their existing skills and confidence to transform gendered norms, practices, and structures. The workshop is aimed at participants with a developed understanding of gender-based inequity in health, built through their practice. The workshop will have particular relevance for participants whose work involves gendered health and health service delivery.
