This course is designed to build your understanding of the key concepts around gender inequality and its impact in the workplace. This Course explores gender inequality, unconscious bias, barriers and resistance as well as tools and strategies to promote gender equality in the workplace. 

On completion of this Course you will:

  • have an understanding of gender inequality within the Australian workforce and the business case for gender equality.
  • have an understanding of the barriers to gender equality, including unconscious bias, the merit myth and common problems encountered.
  • be introduced to tools and strategies that will assist you in achieving gender equality in the workplace.

Time and assessment

This 3-hour interactive online or in-person workshop introduces learners to key concepts around gender equality and its impact in the workplace. It explores gender, gender inequality, unconscious bias and workplace tools and strategies to promote gender equity in the workplace.

On completion of the Course a Certificate of Completion will be issued.
